Bonita Usher is an exceptional Caregiver. She drove my husband to his dialysis treatments three times a week for 6 months. It was basically an hour drive there and an hour drive back. She never was late and came without fail, always with optimism and positive energy. My husband enjoyed their conversations and looked forward to visiting with her. Ms. Usher worked with my mom for over five years. She was at her apartment, the day we arrived after a 2-day drive. She had greeted the moving van a few days earlier and by the time mom got to her new home, the furniture was in place, clothes in the closet, the bathroom set up with towels, the kitchen organized, etc. Not only that but she had left several beautiful bouquets of flowers and found mom's crystal candy bowl and filled that. What a lovely homecoming to a new home. Ms. Usher continued on to help mom with her bills, dealing with utility problems, such as Cable TV, taking her to the beauty parlor for a haircut, shopping for items needed, etc. She was by my side as we cleaned out mom's apartment after she passed away. Smooth Transitions was exactly that! My partner of 20 years started failing forcing us to make the difficult decision to move him to a continuing care retirement community. I knew Bonita and knew she would be the best person to help. Not only did she guide us as to how to manage the move, but was incredibly good at managing Tim who was agitated.
